Legacy

The legacy page is a collection of stories of the colleagues before us. This is not only to preserve the rich history of nuclear that Oak Ridge / Knoxville region has but also to inspire the upcoming generation.

Dr. John Gunning (doctorjahn@gmail.com - the "a" is not a typo!)

Dr. John Gunning is currently retired after decades of experience with the Bechtel Group of Companies and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He graduated from the University of Michigan receiving a BS, MS, and a PhD in 1978. Dr. Gunning was also the chair of the Oak Ridge/Knoxville local section in 1993, which is also the year when the current (as of writing) chair, Jin Whan Bae, was born.
